Kaishika Dwadasi Asthana at Srivari Temple on 5th November

TTD is organising the annual Kaisika Dwadasi Asthanam fete at Srivari temple on November 5.

As part of the festivities, the idol of Sri Urga Srinivasa Murthy along with His consorts will be paraded on Mada streets in the early morning between 4.30am and  5.30 am.

 

Legends say that Sri Mahavishnu went into a deep sleep on Uthana Ekadasi and got up on Kaishika Dwadasi which is grandly celebrated at Srivari temple.
