Since devotees from various parts of the country come for SSD tokens to have Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy, the staff who are deployed to issue tokens in all the SSD counters have to deal with the pilgrims with patience, said TTD JEO for Health and Education, Smt Sada Bhargavi.
Addressing the deputation staff of SSD counters at SVETA Bhavan in Tirupati on Friday, the JEO said, TTD board has decided to provide Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam to devotees from January 2 to 11. As such, TTD has set up nearly 100 counters at 09 centres in various parts of Tirupati.
"While issuing tokens to devotees, you all should behave and deal with patience and issue the tokens without wasting the time. In the case of any issue, the counter staff should immediately report to their incharge officer. You are also supposed to stay back in the counters till your reliever comes. All staff should be in their respective counters 15 minutes prior to their duty time as given to them. All the quota for 10 days will be issued continuously starting from 2pm of January 1 till the prescribed quota of 4.5lakh tokens are completed. Consider only Adhaar Cards to issue tokens to the devotees", she added
The JEO also said, TTD has made elaborate arrangements for devotees at all the counters viz. barricading, providing Annaprasadam, beverages, water, mobile toilets etc.
DyEO Sri Govindarajan, SVETA Director Smt Prasanthi, GM IT Sri Sandeep were also present.
