A two-day National Seminar on the Agamas for universal well-being was inaugurated in SV Vedic University in Tirupati on Thursday.
Dr T Brahmacharyulu, the Convenor of the Seminar and Agama department Head, explained about the importance of the Seminar.
Later Madras Sanskrit College Professor Sri Arunasundara Sivacharya said, Agamas are the hereditary of the ancient Hindu Sanatana Dharma. He said the Agamas explained on various activities related to the temple structure, Gopuram, rituals, mula vigraham etc.forumulated many National Sanskrit University VC Prof GSR Krishnamurty said that the temple structure is an embodiment of Agama, Silpa, Sangeeta, Nritya, Sahitya, Jothisya, Vastu, Yoga Shastras.
SVVU VC Prof Rani Sadasiva Murthy said all the temple related information are treasurised in Agama Shastras.
Scores of scholars from across the country participated in this National seminar. Registrar Dr Radhesyam and others were present.
