Goda Kalyanam Held with Religious Fervour









The spiritual event mulled by TTD, Sri Goda Kalyanam was held with utmost religious fervour in the Parade Grounds of the TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Sunday evening.


The programme commenced with a dance ballet on Goda Kalyanam in a colour and splendid manner by the students of TTD-run SV College of Music and Dance.


Annamacharya Project Director Dr Vibhishana Sharma explained every episode of the celestial event. The whole celestial marriage was carried out by the Archakas under the supervision of one of the Chief Priests of Tirumala temple Sri Krishna Seshachala Deekshitulu.


After Viswaksena Pooja, Punyahavachanam, Ankurarpanam, Raksha Bandhanam, Agni Pratista, Sankalpam, Nivedanam, Vastra Samarpana, Maha Sankalpam, Mangalya Pooja and Dharana, Pradhana Homam, Laja Homam, Purnahuti were performed.


Later Varana Mayiram, Mala Parivarthanam, Akshataropanan and finally Mangala Harati rendered.


During every episode of the event melodious presentation of Annamacharya Sankeertans were rendered by the Project artistes which immersed the devotees in devotional waves.


The celestial event concluded with Govinda Namams.


The entire program was telecasted live on SVBC for the sake of global programs by TTD.

 

JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore, CEO SVBC Sri Shanmukh Kumar, Deputy EO Sri Devendra Babu, SV College of Music and Dance Principal Sri Sudhakar, VGOs Sri Manohar, Sri Bali Reddy, Tirumala temple Parupattedar Sri Uma Maheswara Reddy, Estates Wing OSD Sri Mallikharjuna and others were also present.
