Anantalwar Avatarotsavam Observed

The 969th Avatarotsavam of Sri Anantalwar was observed at Purusaivari Tota on Sunday at Tirumala.

Anantalwar, the great Sri Vaishnavait Saint and pioneer of Pushpa Kainkaryam at Tirumala temple survived for 102 years in the service of Sri Venkateswara Swamy.

His successors from all over the country assembled at Purusaivari Tota and recited Nalayira Divya Prabandham.

HH Sri Pedda Jeeyangar Swamy of Tirumala in his Anugraha Bhashanam on the occasion said, it is great to see that the successors of Anantalwar are taking forward his legacy uninterruptedly for the sake of future generations.

In his religious discourse HH  Sri Chinna Jeeyangar Swamy of Tirumala said the pious life of Sri Anantalwar is a role model to everyone who wishes to perform selfless service to Sri Venkateswara.

Later they released two books on the occasion including Bhakti - Mukti by Smt Vijayalakshmi and another Kannada book.

Sri Tatacharyulu belonging to the Anantalwar clan, All Projects Programme Officer Smt Vijayalakshmi, Alwar Divya Prabandha Co-ordinator Sri Purushottam and others were also present.
