Awareness Programme Aims at Employees Health Security - TTD JEO (H&E)

 Thinking about the health safety and security of the strong workforce of TTD who dedicate most of their time in the service of multitude of visiting pilgrims leaving their personal life and health, management has decided to provide awareness inviting expert doctors, said TTD JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi. 


The three-day awareness programme on Lifestyle disorders and diseases has come to an end on Monday at Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati. Speaking during the Valedictory Session, the JEO(H&E) said, upon the advice of TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and under the instructions of TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, the three-day Health Awareness programme was first conducted to the 2000 women employees of TTD on October 7,8 and 9 during last which received humongous response from the women folk of TTD. 


Similar programme has been mulled to the male employees from February 11 to 13 for three days inviting Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiac experts to enlighten the specified audience on personal health care. "The remaining male employees will also be given awareness soon in the coming days by organizing similar sessions", she maintained.


Later she lauded the efforts of SVETA Director Smt Prasanti and her team for making the programme a huge success and appreciated all the male employees for their active participation during the interactive session with the expert doctors and also in giving feedback about the programme.


Earlier, renowned Diabetologist Dr Krishnaprasanti answered the doubts of the employees who posed queries on Hypertension, hazards of low and high Sugar levels etc.in an eloquent manner. She also appreciated TTD mandarins for organising a programme of this nature keeping in view the health safety of its employees.


In the morning, Nutritionist and Wellness Expert Smt Deepti explained in detail over the balanced food intake to maintain healthy life, while Dr Nageswara Reddy, renowned Oncologist from TATA Hospitals elucidated on the Prostate, Lung and Mouth cancers among men and prevention measures. Dr Srinath Reddy, Director Sri Padmavathi Childrens' Heart Centre elaborated on the activities of the Hospital and enlightened the audience on the importance of Organ Donation.


MRIDANGAM PERFORMANCE ALLURES 


The afternoon session commenced on a grand note with the Mridangam concert by world renowned Mridangam Artist, Dr Tiruchy Shankaran from Toronto. 


He enthralled the audience with the magic of Musical Therapy that has the capacity to cure many chronic diseases including cancer and heart issues.
