Chanda Melam Attracts Devotees





The unique band of Kerala drums, Chanda Melam attracted devotees to a great extent as part of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams at Srinivasa Mangapuram.


The Govindamani troupe of 13 members from the Kollam district of Kerala have been playing the instrument for the past 38 years and alluring devotees.


Similarly, Rangadthala Kolata Bhajana from Markapuram had children aged between 7-12years in their troupe who performed Kolatam, while teams from Chandragiri, Eluru, and Tirupati performed Chekka Bhajans on Monday in front of Simha Vahanam.
