TTD Sculpture Students Exhibition at New Delhi Soons








TTD JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi said on Thursday that TTD will campaign to make Kalamkari as a State Art.


Addressing the concluding ceremony of the three-day exhibition cum sales of artefacts organised at SV sculpture college in Tirupati the TTD JEO said to expose the skills of students TTD is contemplating to organise an exhibition at the Delhi art gallery soon as an encouragement to the students.


She said TTD intends to promote sculpture exhibitions as a role model and while the first exhibition attracted a footfall of over 15000 visitors while the current one over 6500 visitors within three days.


As part of its promotion of traditional fine arts TTD would conduct a workshop in August and another exhibition in November to encourage and attract students pursuing the traditional sculpture courses, She also said TTD is providing English medium of coaching, 3D computer teaching and evening courses for the convenience of students.


TTD DEO Sri Bhaskar Reddy, Principal Sri Venkat Reddy also spoke on the occasion while some students narrated their experiences during the exhibition and thanked TTD for encouraging them with such expos to have better exposure.


Thereafter the JEO felicitated the sculpture artist Sri Maniratnam, Smt Gayatri Devi, Kumari Lavanya, Sri Munusamy, College first batch student Sri Amaralingacharya on occasion.
