TTD JEO for Health and Education, Smt. Sada Bhargavi asserted that the TTD’s SV High School in Tirumala will soon be elevated to International Standards in providing qualitative education.
Speaking on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of Sri Venkateswara High School at Tirumala on Friday evening, the JEO said, the school which started with just one student and a teacher, now has a strength of 25 teachers with 675 pupils.
“With a noble intention to take the school to global standards, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy mulled an innovative idea to train the students involving the country’s top most Educational Trust which has been providing the best curriculum to several thousands of students across the nation, Sri Sulochana Devi Singhania Educational Trust”, she added.
IIT Chennai Director Professor Kamakoti who also graced the occasion, said that parents should recognize and encourage their children's talent. Parents are advised to develop the spirit of questioning in their kids. He said that by 2047, India will become a superpower in terms of technology in the world and advised the students to study hard and climb higher peaks.
Devasthanam Education Officer Dr. Bhaskar Reddy said that students should study with discipline and perseverance to reach their desired goals.
Earlier, the Principal of the school Sri. Krishnamurthy, presented the annual report. Later, the cultural programs performed by the students allured everyone.
