With the summer vacation pilgrim rush commencing from Sunday onwards, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy held a review meeting with all the HoDs of Tirumala at Annamaiah Bhavan on Saturday.
He directed the officials concerned to be available round the clock in the Hill Town at their respective areas to attend to the needs of the pilgrims during the ensuing peak summer period. The EO also instructed the concerned officials who have been on deputation to Tirumala till July 15, to monitor the activities closely and ensure that the pilgrims are not put to any sort of inconvenience. The EO also instructed the concerned HoDs to ensure that there is no dearth of service in providing water, annaprasadam in queue lines, complexes, compartments etc.
The EO directed the PRO Dr T Ravi to invite enough number of Srivari Sevaks to offer services to the pilgrims at all the vital places in Tirumala where the pilgrim influx is more. "Allot Srivari Seva Supervisors to verify whether the pilgrims are getting Annprasadam, water, laddu prasadams etc. properly or not and furnish the feedback report from time to time to the concerned department to sort our issues if any'', he instructed.
Later on he also discussed in detail on how to provide hassle free darshan to visiting pilgrims after Vendi Vakili. He asked former TTD CE and Advisor to TTD Sri Ramachandra Reddy, former DyEO temple Sri Prabhakar Reddy who have vast knowledge and experience in crowd management to suggest some concrete plan to overcome the issue in a couple of days.
The EO also asked the Tirumala Police to have a concrete Traffic Management Plan and ensure that there is no traffic congestion during the peak summer period for the next couple of months.
CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore, CE Sri Nageswara Rao, ASP Tirumala Sri Muniramaiah, temple DyEO Sri Lokanatham and other HoDs of various departments in TTD and others were also present.
