In connection with International Yoga Day on Wednesday, Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force(ITBP) organised a two-hour long training programme in Yoga for TTD employees, devotees and Srivari Sevaks at Astana Mandapam in Tirumala.
Later speaking on the occasion, Inspector Sri YV Reddy said "Following the clarion call given by the Honourable Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modiji to observe International Yoga Day, the 53 Battalion ITBP, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India organised the Ninth International Yoga session under the instructions of Sri Amit Bhati, Commandant 53 BN in the supervision of Dy. Comdt. Sri.Ayush Deepak in Tirumala today. Practising Yoga not only helps to improve one's health but also benefits the family, society and the entire country. Everyone should develop the habit of performing Yoga Asanas and meditation at least for 45 minutes a day without fail, he added.
Earlier, Inspector Sri. Y.Venkateswara Reddy along with the yoga instructors Sri Dinesh Joshi and Sri Suraj Singh from 53 Battalion ITBP located at Kalikiri, Annamayya District, taught Yoga Asanas, Pranayama to the participants.
Asst.PRO Kum. P Neelima, Vigilance Inspector Sri Narasimha and others were also present.
