TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy has directed officials to make extensive arrangements for conducting the prestigious and sacred Chaturveda Havanam at the Parade Grounds behind TTD administrative buildings on June 29-July 5 meant for the well-being of the society.
Addressing a review meeting at the TTD Administrative Building on Thursday EO said the prestigious event was performed earlier at Visakhapatnam and Kovur and will be conducted at Tirupati for seven days and urged officials to ensure its grand success.
He said several discourses by Vedic exponents will also be organised on the occasion to highlight the origins and significance of Vedas and their connectivity with society.
A total of 32 Ritwiks from AP and Telangana will conduct the proceedings and asked officials to design and decorate the venue to provide the spiritual and divine ambience.
He said the artists of Annamacharya and Dasa Sahitya Projects will present cultural events and there will be discourse on the significance of Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba.
The SVBC channel would live telecast the event to benefit the devotees across the country and overseas.
Following are details of the seven-day programs of Chaturveda Havana
* Every day Chaturveda Havanam will be performed between 8am and 1pm, again 4pm and 6pm
* Homam highlighting the chanting of shlokas from all four Vedas.
* Cultural programs and discourses will be held from 6 pm onwards
* Every day there will be Sankalpam by devotees
TTD JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi and Sri Veerabrahmam, VC of SVVedic University Acharya Rani Sadasiva Murti, CAuO Sri Sesha Shailendra, CE Sri Nageswara Rao, VGO Sri Manohar, PRO Dr Ravi, All Projects program Co-ordinator Sri Rajagopal Rao, DPP Secretary Sri Srinivasulu, Additional Health Officer Dr Sunil, SVIHVS special officer Dr Vibhishana Sharma and others were present.
