TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy said on Thursday evening that henceforth Annaprasadam will be served at all TTD local temples.
Commencing the Anna pradadam services at the Tiruchanoor Ammavari temple in nights also on Thursday he said at Tirumala TTD provides Annaprasadam to nearly 1.30 lakh (two times meals a day) devotees who came for Srivari darshan.
At Tiruchanoor temple Annaprasadam began in 2007.
At present about 6000 devotees are being served Annaprasadam at Tolappa Garden from 11am to 4 pm every day.
From today onwards Annaprasdam will be served at 6.30pm and 9.30 pm for the devotees.
He said during festivals like Brahmotsavam, Rathotsavam, Ratha Saptami, etc. Annaprasadam will be served both in the mornings and on the evenings.
He said ₹10 crores is sanctioned for the development of Pushkarini at Tiruchanoor temple.
Local MLA Dr Bahaskar Reddy, board members Sri Ramulu, Sri Ashok Kumar, JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, DyEOs Sri Govindarajan, Sri Subrahmanyam, catering Special Officer Sri Sastry, Tirupati Catering Officer Sri Saibaba Reddy and others were also present.
