CHATURVEDA HAVANAM FOR THE WELL-BEING OF HUMANITY

The maiden Srinivasa Chaturveda Havanam is organised in TTD Parade Grounds for a week seeking the divine intervention for the well-being of humanity said TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.

After the completion of the sacred Homam with Maha Purnahuti on Wednesday, talking to media persons the EO said, 32 Rutwiks performed the Homam with utmost devotion every day while in the evening religious discourses with eminent vedic scholars were arranged followed by devotional cultural programmes which allured the denizens, he added.

He thanked all the Acharya Purushas and especially veteran scholar Sri Chirravuri Sri Rama Sharma under whose supervision the entire religious event took place.

TTD JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi said more such Havans will be organised for the welfare of the people in future by TTD.

Eminent Vedic Pundit Sri Rama Sharma said the Mantras from all Five Vedic departments have been recited and the deities were appeased to safeguard the people from all bad effects.

Later the devotees were issued Prasadam.

CEO SVBC Sri Shanmukh Kumar, HDPP Secretary Sri Srinivasulu, SVETA Director and Program Incharge Smt Prasanthi, Estates Special Officer Sri Mallikharjuna, Manuscripts Project Special Officer Smt Vijaya Lakshmi, SVIHVS Special Officer Dr Vibhishnana Sharma and other employees were also present.
