Manuscript Project AIMS at National Wealth Prtotection









TTD JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi said on Saturday that the TTD manuscripts digitisation project has no boundaries.


Addressing a two-day national seminar on Manuscript digitisation technologies organised by the Sri Venkateswara Vedic University the JEO said manuscripts from all over the country are gathered for the purpose of digitisation and arrangements are made to preserve them for over 500 years.


She said anyone individual or institutions could bring their age-old documents and take it back in digital format.


The project on the directives of TTD EO has been doing incredible progress and digitised valuable manuscripts which are also brought out as a book in coordination with the Sanatana Jeevan Trust.


She said the Seminar aimed to empower people on the purpose of digitisation, to preserve manuscripts and technologies involving the project.


Speaking on the occasion Acharya Krishna Murthy, VC of National Sanskrit University said the TTD has launched the noble task of empowering and preserving ancient knowledge embedded in manuscripts.


The VC of SVVU Acharya Rani Sadasiva Murty presided over the seminar.


SVBC CEO Sri Shanmukh Kumar, Sanatana Jeevan Trust representative, Hyderabad Chaitanya Bharati institute of Technology professor and manuscripts researcher Sri Narahari Shastri, OSD of Manuscripts Project Smt Vijayalakshmi, SVVU registrar Acharya Radhe Shyam and manuscripts researchers from across the country were present.
