TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy along with the Honourable Minister of Transport and Muzrai (Endowments) of Karnataka State, Sri Ramalinga Reddy held a review meeting over the progress of development works of Karnataka State Charities in Tirumala on Wednesday.
The review meeting was held at Annamaiah Bhavan. On behalf of TTD, the Chief Engineer Sri Nageswara Rao narrated the status of works, the expected date of completion of the building likely by December this year through a Powerpoint Presentation. The representatives of Karnataka State Charities also presented a detailed plan of the number of rooms in Block A, B, Kalyana Mandapam etc. along with their designs.
TTD EO asked the officials from Karnataka state to provide the necessary designs on time to complete the work as per schedule. The Karnataka Minister also directed his team of Endowment officials to give the required data to TTD without any delay.
The Karnataka State has handed over the site to TTD on 27th December in 2021 towards the development of Karnataka State Charities which is estimated at a cost of Rs.220cr. The building has two blocks with a total of 242 rooms, 12 dormitories, a Marriage Hall, a Suite block and an old block with 86 rooms.
Among the participants, Sri Rajendra Kataria, Secretary Endowments, the Commissioner of Endowments Dr Basavarj and other teams of officials from Karnataka State, DE Electrical Sri Ravishankar Reddy, DyEE Sri Sudhakar and others were present.
