TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy said the Operation Chiruta will be a continuous affair for the safety of devotees coming for Srivari Darshan round the year.
Earlier on Thursday the Chairman along with TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy visited the spot where forest officials had captured and interacted with forest officials.
Later speaking to reporters he said action plan will be conceived to ensure safety to all devotees walking through the forest area and implement it through out the year.
He said as per forest officials a male wild cat was caught in the bone trap at around 1.30 am. About 300 CC cameras were already installed in the forest footpath and another 200 will soon be rolled out.
He found fault with social media criticism on the proposal of providing sticks to walkers on footpaths as suggested by the forest officials. He asserted that there was no attempt on the part by TTD to escape its responsibility of safeguarding the devotees.
