Parayanams Boost Sanatana Dharma Says Kanchi Pontiff

 Kanchi Kamakoti Peethadhipati Sri Sri Sri Vijayendra Saraswati Maha Swami said on Thursday that Parayanams of holy epics like Ramayana, Mahabharata and Bhagavatham enriched and enhanced Dharmic values in society.

Speaking after the concluding session of the week-long Havanam at Varanasi, the Kanchi Pontiff complimented the TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy for organising such programs which guides society in a righteous path.

He specifically congratulated the TTD for its educational institutions, hospitals, temple construction activities, Dharmic and Bhakti programs.

The Sri Srinivasa Chaturveda Havana program which began at Varanasi on July 28 concluded on Thursday with a grand Purnahuti fete.

The entire Havanam was coordinated and supervised by Dr  Vibhishana Sharma, OSD, SV  Institute of Higher Vedic Studies.

Several union ministers, local legislators and senior officials participated.
