TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy along with TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy on Thursday inaugurated the ₹1.95 crores facilities at SVIMS for the attendants of patients.
Speaking later the Chairman said with the contribution of TTD, Tirupati is emerging as a medical hub in South India with SVIMS, BIRRD, SPCHC, Tata cancer hospital, Aravind eye hospital, Balaji Institute of Oncology.
He said the present building in front of OP block for the attendants of patients was brought up in recognition of their genuine requirements and TTD also provides Anna Prasadam to them.
Among others, he said the ₹125 crore Sri Balaji Institute of Oncology with the latest equipment worth ₹200 crore and another Cardio Neuro block at the cost of ₹97 crore was approved by the TTD board.
He said the delay in Srinivasa Sethu's works is due to a girder fall and tragic death of two labourers and project will be completed by this month end.
SV BALA MANDIR ADDITIONAL BLOCK
Earlier TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy along with TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy inaugurated the ₹10.75 crore five-floor additional hostel block of SV Bala mandir where nearly 500 students were accommodated.
TTD JEO (H&E) Smt Sada Bhargavi, CE Sri Nageswar Rao, SE(Electrical) Sri Venkateswarlu SVIMS medical superintendent Dr Ram, DEO Sri Bhaskar Reddy, SVETA Director Smt Prashanti, VGO Sri Manohar, Bala Mandir AEO Smt Ammulu were present.
