In celebration of Sri Krishna Janmashtami, Saptagiris echoed with the recitation of Sri Krishna Shlokas held on Wednesday evening at Nada Nirajanam stage in Tirumala.
A total of 97 shlokas from Dasama Skanda of Srimad Bhagavatam in chapters two and three were recited with great devotion by devotees.
Sanskrit scholar Sri Kuppa Vishwanatha Sharma of the National Sanskrit University from Tirupati narrated the birth story of Sri Krishna.
Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham Pandits Sri Seshacharyulu and Sri Maruti recited the Shlokas.
SVBC broadcasted the live program from 6 pm to 7.30 pm for the sake of devotees all over the world.
