Gokulashtami Celebrated in TTD Temples

The festival of Gokulashtami was celebrated with religious fervour in all TTD temples on Thursday.

As part of it at the Sri Venugopalaswamy temple attached to Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in the morning, Abhishekam was performed to the presiding deity of Sri Venugopalaswami.  A street festival was held in the evening.  After that Gokulashtami Asthanam was held.

Temple Deputy EO Shri Devendra Babu, Superintendent Sri Bhupathi, Temple Inspectors Sri Ravikumar and Sri Balakrishna participated in this program.

Similarly, special pujas were conducted for Sri Venugopalaswami along with Rukmini Satyabhama in Karvetinagaram and Sri Venugopalaswamy in Chandragiri Sri Kodandaramalayam.
