Grand Sri Krishna Janmastami Celebrations at Tirumala

The Sri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated in a grand manner at Srivari temple in Tirumala with special programs.

Earlier the imposing Panchabisekam was performed to the statue of Kaliamardana Sri Krishna at Gogarbham dam and Utlotsavam was also conducted there followed by Annaprasadam distribution.

Garden department Deputy Director Sri Srinivas, VGO Sri Bali Reddy and other officials were present.

Later at night in Bangaru Vakili inside Srivari temple, the Ekantha Tirumanjanam and Dwadasa  Aradhana will be performed to utsava idols of Sri Ugra Srinivasmurti, Sri Devi, Bhudevi and Sri Krishna Swami.

Thereafter the prabhandha sattumora and Gokulashtami Asthana will also be held between 8pm and 10pm.

On Friday evening grand Utlotsavam will be conducted on Mada streets with a grand procession of Sri Malayappaswami and Sri Krishna Swami on separate thiruchis.

In view of festivities on Friday TTD has cancelled the Arjita Sevas of Arjita Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas.
