Highlights of Activities During Srivari Annual Brahmotsavam From 18th to 28th Septembert

The following are highlights during Srivari annual Brahmotsavam from September 18-25(8 days)

@ The Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy presented pattu vastrams to Srivari temple on September 18 on behalf of state government as a tradition.

@CM also inaugurated the 7 km long ₹650.5 crore Srinivasa Sethu expressway and ₹ 37.80 crore Hostel blocks of SV Arts college and also launched the distribution of house sites to 3518 TTD employees at Padiredu village of Vadamalapeta Mandal.

CM also inaugurated two rest houses - Vakulamata  Nilayam rest house (₹20 crore) and Sri Rachana rest house (₹11.50 crore) at Tirumala.

5.47 pilgrims lakh had srivari darshan

During Garuda Vahana Seva 72,650 had srivari Darshan and over two lakh witnessed Garuda Vahana Seva.

8 lakh Laddu buffer stock kept and sold 30.22 lakh laddus

Srivari Hundi collections ₹24.22 crore

Vigilance and security wing :

2770 CCTVs, 5000 persons of TTD vigilance and police in bandobust duty.

6000 child tags tied 

Kalyana Katta :

About 2.07 lakh devotees tonsured

1150  barbers engaged in  11 Kalyana Katta for tonsuring

80.10%  occupancy rate achieved.

Anna Prasadam

16.28  lakhs given meals and tiffin On Garuda Seva day 4.81 lakhs Devotees given Anna Prasadam and 3.37 given tea, coffee,milk, 2.50 lakhs of buttermilk packets

Medical 

40 doctors, 35 paramedics and 13 ambulances deployed 

31 thousand devotees given medical services

Health wing

For sanitation and garbage cleaning in Tirumala 3000 were deployed and additionally 774 on Garuda Seva day.

Engineering wing 

Gallery arranged on Mada streets for 2 lakh devotees to watch Vahana Sevas

Parking lots organised at Tirumala additionally for 9000 vehicles besides queue lines for chakra Snanam.

368 lakh gallons of water utilised during Brahmotsavam

Electrical cutouts of deities, arches and illumination installed in Tirumala

20  LED screens displayed

TTD Hindu Dharma projects 

Cultural teams from 12 states with 3710 Artists belonging to 152 teams participated 

Garden department 

Flower decorations were organised at Srivari temple, all junctions, rest houses besides Flower exhibition with 45 Tons of flowers. 3 lakhs cut flowers 75000 Seasonal flowers.

Public relations department 

Media centre set up at Ram Bagicha -2 rest house and photo exhibition at Kalyana vedika.

Services by 3342 Srivari Sevakulu from all over the country

Publications department 

Tirupati and Tirumala sales counters set up for sale of TTD publications ₹ 74.59 lakhs sold.

Release of  10 spiritual books in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, English Sanskrit languages during Vahana Sevas.

IT WING

* For the first time vehicle pass management system deployed to issue passes to vehicles coming to Tirupati on Garuda Seva day via Kukkaladoddi, Karakambadi, Vadamalapeta, Itepalli, Rangampeta, R.Mallavaram

* Brahmotsavam visual coverage rolled out through Social media sites enabling worldwide visibility.

* All 5000 policemen on deputation for Brahmotsavam were issued duty 

SVBC 

The SVBC channel broadcasts in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi languages 9 hours live Daily besides YouTube, TTD website, Facebook and Twitter channels

Commentary by eminent pundits in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Hindi for Vahana Sevas on Mada streets and Snapana Tirumanjanam in  Srivari temple.

 APSRTC 

APSRTC operated 13532 trips from Tirupati to Tirumala and facilitated 3.25 lakh devotees daily . Similarly the Tirumala to  Tirupati in  12996  trips 3.69 lakh devotees

On Garuda Vahana day APSRTC operated 2491 Trips to Tirumala and carried 73460 passengers. and 2400 trips to Tirupati and carried 56491 devotees.
