Tirumala Ghat Road Restrictions Relaxed






TTD relaxed the restrictions on the movement of two-wheelers which came into force with immediate effect from Saturday onwards.


The TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy made an announcement in this regard during the review meeting with TTD officials at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Saturday evening.


In view of the movement of wild cats in Alipiri footpath, keeping in view the safety of devotees, TTD restricted the movement of two-wheelers from 6pm to 6am.


But with TTD forest along with state forest department trapping six wild cats in the area and the authorities confirming no further threat after pursuing for a week, decided to relax the restrictions on the timings over the movement of two-wheelers.


Henceforth the two-wheelers will be allowed to ply on ghat roads upto 10pm.


NAVARATRI BRAHMOTSAVAM ARRANGEMENTS REVIEWED


The EO also reviewed with the officials about the preparation by the concerned departments for the upcoming Navaratri Brahmotsavams scheduled between October 15 to 23 with Ankurarpanam on October 14.


As more pilgrim rush is being anticipated for this festival due to Dasara holidays, the EO asked all the officials to put extra efforts to make the event successful on par with annual brahmotsavams with team work.


JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore, CEO SVBC Sri Shanmukh Kumar, CE Sri Nageswara Rao, SE 2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy and other officials and Heads of Departments were present.
