The TTD JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi said that cultural teams from 14 states across the country would participate and present their respective state art forms during the ongoing Navaratri brahmotsavams.
Addressing a media conference at Annamaiah Bhavan on Sunday the JEO said the cultural activities during annual brahmotsavams received immense appreciation from the pilgrims. In that light many activities were selected by reviewing the videos of cultural teams for the Navaratri brahmotsavams.
She said teams from AP, Telangana, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Assam, Madhya Pradesh,Gujarat, West Bengal, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab and Manipur will be performing during the nine-day fest. "They will present traditional dances, folklore. Teams from Tirumala and Tirupati will also be given opportunity", she added.
She said artists of AP will perform on first day, Karnataka on day 2, Tamilnadu on the 3rd day, Telangana on fourth day. On Garuda Seva day it will be a package of best shows by all the states.
The TTD-run SV College of Music and Dance students will perform during both the morning and evening vahana sevas. While the students of SV Bala Mandir and Doctors and Paramedical team of BIRRD Ortho hospital will also showcase their talents in front of vahana sevas, she added.
Besides, cultural programmes will also be organised at several places in Tirumala and in Tirupati.
All Projects Program Officer Sri Rajagopal, HDPP Secretary Sri Srinivasulu, Dasa Sahitya Project Special Officer Sri Ananda Theerthacharyulu, Director of Annamacharya project Sri Vibhishana Sharma were also present.
