Spread Ayurvedic Medicine Worldwide - TTD JEO (H&E)










TTD JEO (Health and Education) Smt Sada Bhargavi said the ancient Indian medicine of Ayurveda had saved numerous lives during the Covid -19 season and called upon Ayurveda doctors on Friday to popularise the tenants of ancient Indian Ayurvedic medicine across the globe.


TTD JEO inaugurated the three-day convention of Ayurveda Parv 2023 organised jointly by TTD Sri Venkateswara Ayurveda College, Ayush Ministry and Akhila Bharat Ayurveda Maha Sammelan at the Kachchapi Auditorium.


Speaking on the occasion the TTD JEO said the Union government’s Ayush ministry had chosen the spiritual hub of Tirupati with the blessings of Sri Venkateswara to conduct the national convention to ensure that the benefits of Ayurveda reach the common man.


She said the Ayurveda medicinal procedures were the only known medicinal practices which identified the core ailment and solutions for complete cure.


She said the Seshachala forests the abode of Sri Venkateswara are a treasure trove of precious Ayurvedic medicinal plants and the Sri Srinivasa Ayurveda Pharmacy of TTD had indigenously formulated 30 medicines and has sent a proposal to the Ayush ministry for licenses to many more life-saving drugs.


She said TTD has initiated steps to improve infrastructure facilities at SV Ayurvedic Hospital and College after the demand for Ayurvedic treatment and medicines.TTD has introduced qualitative procedures after a tie-up with the Ayurvedic institutions in Kerala.


She also sought the support of the Ayush ministry towards the research and development activities at SV Ayurvedic College and other institutions.


RUMASAAP PAIN BALM UNVEILED


The JEO also launched the   Rumasaap pain balm indigenously innovated by the researchers at the TTD-run Sri Srinivasa Ayurveda Pharmacy at Narasingapuram. She also unveiled the logo of the alumni association of SV Ayurveda College.


Earlier she also went around the exhibition put up by the Ayurveda college and Ayush department and others on the theme of Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy medical practices.


Ayush Ministry Joint Secretary Sri Biswajit Kumar Singh, Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidya peetham president Dr Devender Triguna, Ayush Advisor Dr Manoj Nesari, NCISM Chairman Dr Jayant Dio Pujari, SV Ayurveda college principal Dr Renu Dixit, faculty members Dr Vijaybhaskar Reddy, Dr Ramesh Babu, Dr Narappa Reddy, Dr Harshavardhan, Dr Shriharsha were also present.
