TTD Eo Reviews on The Modalities






TTD is all set to commence Sri Venkateswara Divyanugraha Visesha Homam likely in the sacred month of Karthika in November in the Sapthagiri Gopradakshina Mandiram located in Alipiri. In connection with this, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy along with the officials held an elaborated review meeting to discuss the modalities at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Saturday.


The EO said the chief aim behind the introduction of this Homam is that it has a great place in Vedic Dharma and Upanishads and the Grihastas when participating in this Homam will beget the benign blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy and lead a peaceful and prosperous life. 


The EO instructed the engineering officials to come to lay a temporary structure initially to perform the Homam on Go Mandiram premises. He also discussed the quota of tickets to be released on-line and offline. The daily activity of the Homam will be supervised under the control of the Deputy EO of Sri Govindaraja Swamy Group of Temples.


The Vice-chancellor of the TTD-run Sri Venkateswara Vedic University Acharya Rani Sada Siva Murty suggested that the design of the program which will have Bhakta Sankalpam, recitation of 108 divine mantras from Sri Paramatmika Upanishad, Vishwak Sena Puja, Punyahavachanam, Ankurarpanam, Raksha Bandhanam, Agni Pratisthapanam, Kumbharchanas, Visesha Paramatmika Mula Mantra Homam, Kumbha Samarpanam, Naivedyam, Neerajanam, Asheervadam, Homa Prasada Vitaranam etc. The participating Grihasta pilgrims (Husband and Wife) shall take part in the traditional dress only in the Homam. 


One of the chief priests of Tirumala temple Sri Venugopala Deekshitulu, JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore, CEO SVBC Sri Shamukh Kumar, CE Sri Nageswara Rao, SV Gosala Director Dr Harnath Reddy and other officials were also present.
