TTD Geared up for Navaratri Brahmotsavams - TTD Eo





TTD has geared up for conducting the Navahnika Navaratri Brahmotsavams from October 15-23 with Ankurarpanam on October 14 said TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.



The monthly Dial Your EO program was held at Annamaiah Bhavan on Friday in Tirumala. Before taking calls from the pilgrims during this live phone-in programme, the EO highlighted a few programmes and upcoming events and activities. Some excerpts:


* from September 18-26 the annual Brahmotsavam were conducted successfully and the Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy submitted pattu vastrams on behalf of the AP Government.


* On the Garuda Vahana day on September 22, more devotees were provided comfortable Srivari Darshan from 7 additional entry points


* TTD also provided non stop supply of drinking water, buttermilk, Anna Prasadam etc. to devotees in the Mada street galleries on Garuda Seva day


* Prominent events during Navaratri Brahmotsavam are Garuda Seva on October 19, Pushpaka Vimanam on 20, Swarna Ratham on 22, Chakra Snanam on 23.


* On all nine days Vahana Sevas will be conducted from 8am-10 am and night Vahana Sevas from 7pm - 9 pm.


* The events of Dwajarohanam and Dwajaavarohanam will not be performed in the second Brahmotsavam


* From October 15-23  the arjita Sevas of Astadala Padmaradhana, Tiruppavada, Kalyanotsavam,unjal Seva, and Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas are cancelled in view of Brahmotsavam.


Couples who have booked for Arjita Brahmotsavam will be allowed for specific Vahana Seva only.


* TTD has cancelled all VIP break Darshan recommendations and only personal visits of Protocol are entertained. All privileged Darshana like senior citizens, physically challenged, parents with infants also cancelled.


Keeping in view safety of devotees, two-wheelers are cancelled on ghat roads ahead of Garuda Seva on October 19


* Parveta utsavam will be conducted on October 24, a day after the Brahmotsavam fete.


* Donors quota of rooms provided only for personal visits of donors and not their recommendations.


* From October 17-19 there will be no allocation of rooms to donors


* In view of Puratasi month between September 18- October 17 heavy rush is being anticipated from Tamilnadu. Already during the second week of Puratasi witnessed an unprecedented rush for four days and every employee of TTD, Vigilance and Security, Srivari Sevaks coordinated and rendered hassle-free services to them.

* TTD also cancelled SSD tokens at Tirupati from October 6,7,8,13,14 and 15 anticipating Puratasi Devotee crowds.

Devotees are appealed to note the changes and make alternative arrangements.


* Following the lunar eclipse on October 29 Srivari temple will be closed from October 28 at 7.05 pm till 3.15 am for eight hours in view of partial eclipse from 1.05 am- 2.22 am of October 29.


The Anna Prasadam activity in Tirumala will also be closed from 6 pm of October 28  till 9 am of October 29.


Devotees are appealed to note that during that period, no Anna Prasadam would be served.


Similarly Sahasra Deepalankara Seva and privileged Darshans like senior citizens and physically disabled cancelled on October 28.


Two-wheelers allowed till 10 pm on ghat roads


TTD forest and state forest departments have so far captured six leopards on the Alipiri footpath and after two weeks of scrutiny decided to withdraw restrictions


As a result from September 29, two-wheelers are permitted on ghat roads up to 10 pm. The restrictions on allowing children below 12 years upto 2pm only along Alipiri footpath is still continuing as the forest officials are yet to give clearance in this regard.

In the last 23 months, as many as 1930 heart operations were performed including six heart transplants giving new life to infants.


TTD has launched a new arjita Sevas of Veda Ashirvachana and Kunkumarchana in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple. Devotees can avail these services through online booking on TTD websites.


Sharanavaratri Utsavams in 
Tiruchanoor and Sri Kapileswara Swami Temples in Tirupati from October 15-23.

Caution Deposits will be refunded within three to seven working days


Facelift to 16th Century Rati Mandapam at Alipiri with Rs.1.36crores.


JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore, CEO SVBC Sri Shanmukh Kumar, CE Sri Nageswara Rao and others were present.
