TTD JEO ( Health and Education) Smt Sada Bhargavi on Friday distributed the Vidya Kanuka kits to the students and also unveiled the Vidya Kanuka logo as well at the Sri Kodandarama Swamy English Medium High School in Tirupati.
Speaking on the occasion the JEO said the TTD educational institutions are on the path of progress with the support of Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy and EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.
She said that enthused with the Jagananna Vidya Kanuka Scheme the TTD provided the Vidya Kanuka benefits to the students of TTD unaided schools. The Package includes uniforms, notebooks, belts, Shoes and that in the next academic year TTD will distribute these benefits to students in the month of June itself.
She said in the current academic year all students of TTD educational institutions are being provided with the mid-day meals.
She also complimented the DEO and HM of the school and exhorted them to conduct more and more Parents-teachers sessions to improve the quality of education in the TTD schools.
TTD DEO ( Devasthanams Education Officer ) Dr M Bhaskar Reddy explained the significance of Vidya Kanuka to the students and also hailed the TTD management for the implementation of the scheme in the shortest time frame.
Sri M Surendra Babu, the Head Master of the school who presided over the meeting also presented the progress card of the school.
All faculty members and parents of students and students were also present.
