Acharya Krishnamurthy, the Vice-Chancellor of National Sanskrit University said that Vedic knowledge has been guiding the Indian society for thousands of years.
On Saturday, he participated in the Srinivasa Veda Vidwat Sadas being held at Tirumala Nanirajanam on the occasion of Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavams. He said that Veda leads the ignorant human being towards knowledge and also provides culture and makes him a supreme person.
He later elaborated on how Vedas are useful for building up a healthy modern society.
Sri Venkateswara Institute of Higher Vedic Studies Special Officer Dr A Vibhishana Sharma was also present.
