TTD E Sri AV Dharma Reddy along with district SP Sri Parameshwar Reddy on Thursday inspected all arrangements for the prestigious Panchami Theertham fete slated for November 18 on the last day of the ongoing Karthika Brahmotsavam of Tiruchanoor temple.
Speaking to media later the TTD EO said all engineering arrangements for the auspicious fete including the installation of 3 German sheds with the capacity to accommodate 25,000 devotees were complete on the way to Tiruchanoor at Ayyappa temple, ZP High school and Pudi road junction.
He said arrangements are also made for the distribution of Anna Prasadam, coffee, milk, snacks, drinking water and separate toilets for men and women at the sheds.
Among others, separate gates for entry and exit, barricades, sign boards, coordinated activity of TTD vigilance and district police to ensure the safety and security of devotees.
He said the Chakra Snanam program will be held at 12 noon on November 18 and devotees will be given entry into the Pushkarani, one hour ahead only. He appealed to devotees to wait for their turn at the sheds and that the divinity of the holy bath lasts the entire day.
Earlier the EO and District SP inspected the queue lines, barricades at Pushkarini and all German sheds and made valuable suggestions to officials concerned.
JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore, SVBC CEO Sri Shanmukh Kumar, CE Sri Nageswar Rao, SE-3 Sri Satyanarayana, SE (electrical) Sri Venkateswarulu, Temple Dyeo Sri Govindarajan, Additional Health Officer Dr Sunil and others were present.
