Workshop at SVETA on Shuddha Tirumala - Sundara Tirumala







TTD JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi said action plans are being readied for adaptation of advanced technologies in maintaining hygiene and sanitation at Tirumala which receives tens of thousands of pilgrim footfalls every day.


Participating as chief guest at the one-day workshop on Shuddha Tirumala and Sundara Tirumala at SVETA Bhavan on Monday, she said the program is held in a continuous manner in order to protect the environmental balance in the hill town.


She said the focus of present workshop is to elicit expert opinions on promoting the hygiene and sanitation drive at TTD temples and buildings in Tirupati as well.


She appealed to the health workers and officials of TTD to utilise the proceedings of the workshop attended by environmental experts from all over the state.


Prominent spiritualist Sri Jonnalagadda Sriramamurthy, Swatcch Andhra corporation advisor Dr Jayaprakash Sai, Greater Visakhapatnam corporation additional municipal commissioner Dr Sanyasi Rao, Rajamundry municipal corporation behalf Sri JSR Annamaiah, Planet-wise Singapore founder Sri Anil Kumar, Tirupati municipal corporation superintendent Sri Ravi and others also spoke.


JEO also presented awards to 12 health workers of SVETA Bhavan who excelled in their performance and also felicitated the visiting environment experts.


TTD SE-2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy, Health officer Dr Sridevi, SVETA Director Smt Prashanti, Additional health officer Dr Sunil Kumar were present.
