Distribution of House Site Pattas to Employees Held with APLOMB




















The Tirupati legislator and the TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy categorically said on Thursday that there will be no laxity with regard to taking up Hindu Sanatana Dharma activities and employees welfare measures in a big way.


He participated as chief guest in the festive event of distribution of employees' house site pattas held at  Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati on Thursday morning.


Speaking on the occasion he said he was immensely happy to give away house site documents to thousands of employees and described it as a momentous day to complete the task which began during his first stint as TTD Chairman 17 years ago and recalled his discussions with the then CM of AP late Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy and also announced by CM in 2009 on the same platform.


A student of TTD educational institutions from 6th standard to Degree, he said he was glad that the decades-old dream of TTD employees had been achieved through the Goodwill of the former CM late Sri YS Rajasekhar Reddy and the present CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy.


He said the CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy wanted to give house sites to employees free of cost to all the employees of TTD but is not viable as per law. ''The sites are now given at nominal cost to both employees and by next month even the retired employees will also be given house sites.


He complimented the TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, Tirupati District Collector Sri Venkataramana Reddy, JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi and Sri Veerabrahmam and others for taking the project further and making it real for employees.


He said the District collector granted 350 acres near Pagali and EO approved a grant of 85 crore at board meeting held on December 26 towards land cost.


Adding further he said during his entire political stint as MLA and Chairman he strived for the upliftment of poor and employees and employees that though many governments made promises but it was then Sri YS Rajasekhar Reddy and now Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy who made it possible with a spirit of true leadership.


He said the Sri Jaganmohan Reddy is responsible for hiking the salaries of sanitation workers to 5000  and Potu workers to 10000 and categorisation of Vahana bearers and store workers as skilled labour.


He urged all employees to consider their growth as a blessing of Sri Venkateswara Swami and strive to give better service to devotees.


Speaking on the occasion the TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy highlighted the entire process of house sites procurement from the Government and its development.


He said the value of land at Vadamalapeta was around 40 lakhs. The new land of 350 acres purchased at Pagali for  250 crore is a historic decision by the Government.


He urged employees to recognise the good things done by this Government and that next phase of house site distribution will be made in next 15 days at the same auditorium.


Thereafter PRO Dr T Ravi and others spoke on behalf of TTD employees and thanked the TTD Chairman and EO for allotting them house sites.


Later the TTD Chairman and EO gave away house site documents to employees.


JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore and others were present.
