Highlights of TTD Trust Board Meeting










TTD Trust Board met on Tuesday at Annamaiah Bhavan under the Chairmanship of Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy and took some significant decisions. 


Excerpts:


Before commencing the press briefing, the TTD Chairman complimented EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy and his team of officials, employees, Board members for the incident-free and successful completion of Vaikuntadwara Darshan on Vaikunta Ekadasi and Dwadasi on December 23 and 24 respectively providing hassle-free Darshan to both common devotees as well VIPs.


Upon the directions of the Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy house sites are being distributed to all TTD employees. The board has decided to take up distribution of house sites to TTD employees in different phases. In the first phase on December 28, the house sites will be distributed to 3518 employees.


In the Second phase 1500 employees will be given their house documents in the first week of January 2024 and in the third phase, the Tirupati District Collector has been requested to provide 350 acres to facilitate 5000  odd employees/pensioners. Measures are underway to give them house sites by February 2024. 


TTD will develop these sites after purchase from the Government and the employees will pay the cost of development to TTD.


TTD will conduct a Dharmic Sadas with all the Pontiffs and Mutt Chiefs in February as part of Hindu Sanatana Dharma propagation inviting their suggestions in taking forward Dharmic activities in a big way.


The decision to hike the salaries of Srivari Potu workers by 10,000 and all Vahana bearers are being recognised as skilled workers with a considerable hike in their pay scales.


Nod to hike in the financial assistance of 60 lakhs to Pedda Jeeyar Mutt and 40 lakhs to Chinna Jeeyar Mutt every year in addition to the existing financial assistance.


Salaries hiked for workers in several departments on a contract basis.

Skilled workers salary hiked to 18,500 from 15,000

Semi-skilled workers salaries hiked to 15000 from 12000


Unskilled workers pay increased to 15000 from  10,340


Board also approved minimum wages to 20,000 to piece rate Barbers at Kalyanakatta  as per G.O No 110 dt.13-03-2023


Tender of 4.47 crore approved for building permanent queue lines at Gogarbham Dam Circle on Outer Ring Road.


Tenders for building new rest houses Achyuta and Sripatham complexes at  209.65 crore each approved.


Approved repairs and development works in remaining cottages of HVC region in Tirumala at 1.82 crore 


Approval given for open drain works at 2 crore cost on the Eastern direction of Srinivasam rest house.


Approved 7.31 crore for construction of toilets, kitchen and footpath at Alipiri parking lot for the benefit of pilgrims coming from long distances parking their bus and cars on way to Tirumala for Srivari Darshan.

Similarly tenders approved for 7.24 crore for new parking lot in Alipiri.


Tenders approved for a four lane road from Sri Varaha Swamy Rest House to Outer Ring Road at 6.32 crore to reduce traffic restraints to devotees.


TTD board has approved tender of 17.29 crore for beautification, street lights, drains and four lane BT Road from Cheropalli-Srinivasa Mangapuram-Srivari Mettu  in view of increased traffic,devotees movements on the route. 


Approval of tenders to take up sanitation in regions of TTD roads, institutions and devotees movements in Tirupati abiding to the court directives. 


The Jharkhand Government has written a letter to the Honourable CM of AP seeking a temple dedicated to Sri Venkateswara in a100 acres land at Devgarh. The place already houses most important shrine of Sri Vaidyanatha-one of 12 Jyoyitlingas and also one Shakti peetham. The board approves to construct the Srivari temple in the place allotted by the Jharkhand Government after the administrative procedures.


Board decided to sanction 2 crore from Srivani trust funds for construction of prakaram, cut stone flooring, store room and Mandapam at Sri Moolasthana Yellamma temple in Chandragiri.


Participants in the Srinivasa Divyanugraha Visesha Homa at Alipiri Sapta Go Pradakshina Mandiram will be provided Darshan through Supatham on payment of Rs.300 per person.


TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, board members, JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam were present.
