Andal Neeratotsavams Concludes

The seven-day long Andal Niratotsavam at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati concluded on Saturday.

On this occasion at 5.30 in the morning, Sri Andal Ammavaru left in a procession and reached Neerata Mandapam and later paraded along the streets.

In the evening Sri Andal takes procession around Sri Kodandaramalayam on golden Tiruchi and returns to Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple.

Every year in Dhanurmasam, this festival is held to symbolize the penance performed by Sri Andal for Her Lord.

Temple Deputy EO Smt.Shanti, AEO Sri. Munikrishna Reddy, Superintendents Sri Narayana, Sri. Mohan and others were also present.
