Tirumala, 16 February 2024: The Sapta Vahana seva which began with Suryaprabha also witnessed Sri Malayappa taking a solo ride on Chinna Sesha, Garuda and Hanumanta Vahanams in the first half of the day on Friday.
CHINNA SESHA VAHANAM (9am to 10am)
According to mythology, Chinna Sesha is considered as Vasuki. According to Sri Vaishnava tradition, God is Seshi and the world is Seshabhuta. Sesavahanam represents this relic. Devotees strongly believe that they will be blessed with Kundalini Yoga if they witness Him on this carrier.
GARUDA VAHANAM (11 am to 12 noon)
Garuda Vahanam is the vehicle most loved by Srivaru. In the mythological context, Garudaseva has become very important in all 108 Vaishnava Divya Desams. Through Garudavahanam, Swami informs the devotees who measure themselves with Dasya Bhakti.
HANUMANTHA VAHANAM (1pm to pm)
Seshachaladhisa appears to the devotees in procession on His most humble and noble devotee Hanuman. Hanuman is the foremost among the devotees of the Almighty for his benevolent qualities. Lord as Sri Rama disciples, Hanuman, are great blessed His devotees on Hanumanta Vahana, the fourth one among the Vahanam series.
