Plans are anvil to replace the Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) with the Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) in Tirumala which is relatively safety and cheaper, said TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.
Answering a query by a pilgrim caller Sri Appanna from Visakhapatnam who brought to the notice of EO about the safety issues involved due to the using of LPG gas by a few hoteliers in Tirumala. Responding to the caller, the EO said soon TTD is contemplating to replace LPG with LNG in all its kitchens at main Annaprasadam complex, VQC Canteen, Employees Canteen as the Government of India is mulling for environmentally cleaner, cost efficient and technologically adaptable fuel. It has also appointed an Agency in each district and we are also planning to go for LNG by laying a pipe line with the connectivity of all our Annaprasadam units besides the private eateries in Tirumala.
While callers Sri Shankar from Vijayawada, Sri Subhash from Hindupur, Sri Appa Rao sought to resume offline for Senior citizens, Angapradakshina and Srivari Seva respectively to which EO replied that TTD has introduced online mechanism keeping in view the benefit of devotees to avoid unnecessary waiting and to enhance transparency in Srivari Seva voluntary service.
Sri Himakar from Vijayawada, Sri Basavaraju from Hindupur complimented EO for reviving Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel and also for developing a devotee-friendly mechanism in the administration and suggested him to display programmes of SVBC on the previous day for the information of the public. Welcoming the suggestion the EO thanked the devotees for watching the SVBC for over 10hours every day and identifying the pilgrim-friendly efforts of TTD. "Your words of appreciation are like oasis in the desert for us and boost up our energies to render more efficient services to the visiting pilgrims", EO asserted.
When Sri Hussain Bhasha from Naidu Peta sought EO to provide the Muslim devotees of Sri Venkateswara Swamy to permit to render Srivari Seva, reacting to the caller, the EO said, he is indeed happy to note their dedication despite of other religious faith. Many devotees belonging to different faiths have made and been making donations to Sri Venkateswara. He said he will verify the possibility on his request.
A septuagenarian devotee Sri Durga Rao from Vijayawada brought to the notice of EO that how he could not had darshan of Srivaru during December last as he fell unconscious after reaching the Vaikuntham Queue Complex and how the medical team assisted him, the EO apologized the pilgrim for the inconvenience caused to the devotee and said he will be arranged darshan by temple officials soon and also expressed his pleasure for the timely involvement of the Medical team in assisting the pilgrim to regain his consciousness.
Sri Srinivasa Rao from Vijayawada brought to the notice of TTD EO about the speeding private taxis in Tirumala and suggested to provide them a speed limit to which the EO replied that TTD Vigilance and Police often conducts awareness classes to the private drivers and even takes sever measures if they violate the norms. However, we will again conduct a training and awareness class to them soon, he maintained.
While one Sri Anand has suggested for Vaikuntham Queue Complex 3 for the waiting of pilgrims, the EO said, in a decade's time the entire Darshan system will be operated with Time Slot avoiding serpentine queue lines and long waiting hours for pilgrims.
Smt Mahalakshmi from Visakhapatnam suggested EO to perform Rudrabhishekam every month besides Karthika Masam to which EO replied the suggestion is well taken and discuss with the religious persons on implementation.
