The hill town of Tirumala geared up to host one-day of Brahmotsavam in a grand manner on Friday.
Tirumala streets are already brimming with the pilgrim influx. Serpentine queues have become the order of the day at Accommodation centres from Thursday itself.
The arrangements by various departments of TTD were concluded and nearly 2000 Srivari sevaks are deployed exclusively for Mada streets to serve Annaprasadam, water, buttermilk to devotees along four Mada galleries.
Shades were erected to shield pilgrims from scorching temperatures.
Meanwhile, the devotees occupied galleries from the evening of Thursday itself to catch the darshan of Suryanarayana Murty on Surya Prabha Vahanam, the first and foremost of the day-long seven carrier series which commences at 5:30am and concludes by 8am on February 16. 8 to 9 pm - Chandraprabha Vahana
On the other hand Annaprasadam, Health, Vigilance, temple wings have geared up to meet the pilgrim rush by making elaborate arrangements.
