Veturi Jayanti Fete Observed

Sri Veturi Prabhakarasastri had widely publicized Annamaiah Sankeertans by translating them and, thus spread the glory of Srivaru across the globe said SVETA Director Sri Subramanyam Reddy, said. 

The 136th birth anniversary of Sri Veturi was observed on Wednesday evening at Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati. 

Sri Narasimha Kishore,  CVSO of TTD also participated in this program presided over by Sri Bhuman.

Annamacharya project director Dr.  Akella Vibhishana Sharma informed that Sri Prabhakara Shastri has started the Death anniversary celebrations of Saint Poet Sri Annamacharya.

Afterwards, Prof. Sarvottama Rao gave a lecture on "Annamacharya's Literature - Veturi Vari Krishi", Acharya Kattamanchi Mahalakshmi spoke on the topic “Sri Veturi Vari Jivanrekhalu”.
