TTD Trust Board meeting was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Monday under the Chairmanship of Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy. The key decisions are as follows.
• Approval to create 479 nurse posts to provide better medical services in view of the increasing number of patients in SVIMS Hospital.
-In the past in TTD, most of the recruitment of contract/outsourcing employees was done following their requirement in the respective areas and not through any notification, rule of reservation (RVR). To regularize the services of such employees as per G.O.No.114, the TTD board has decided to send a report on the same relaxing some of the rules requesting the state government.
- Approval towards the construction of hostels for providing accommodation to all the female students admitted in TTD colleges without any recommendation.
- Tender approval towards the construction of 10 lifts in PAC-1 for the convenience of devotees in Tirumala at a cost of Rs.1.88 crores.
- Sanction of security fencing left in the outer cordon area of Sri Padmavati Rest House, similarly, Balaji Nagar East side at Rs.1.50 crores.
- Approval to take up development works of the remaining 184 quarters of old C type, D type, new C type and D type quarters of TTD employees in Tirumala with Rs.14 crores.
- Approval towards the gold malam of the Makara Toranam in front of Bhashyakarlu in Tirupati Sri Govindarajaswamy temple, Tiruvabharans of Sri Parthasarathiswamy and Srikalyana Venkateswara Swamy.
TTD has a Tier 3 Data Center and Disaster Recovery Center for IT services. As per IT standard protocol, tech replacement should be done every seven years as part of the lifecycle management process. As part of this, a sanction of over Rs.12 crore towards the maintenance of data centres for five years has been approved.
- There are 15 historic and ancient temples, 13 temples built by TTD and 22 temples taken over by TTD. Permission towards undertaking necessary development works in these temples through SRIVANI Trust funds.
- An ex gratia of Rs.5 lakhs to the family of Tirumala Srivari Temple Paricharika Sri Yathirajan Narasimhan who recently died in an accident on the ghat road.
Special Principal Secretary of Endowments Department Sri. Karikalavalavan, TTD EO Sri AV. Dharma Reddy, JEO Sri. Veerabraham and several board members participated in this meeting.
