Dinamu Dwadasi Observed











In connection with the 521st Tallapaka Annamacharya Vardhanti, Saptagiri Sankeertana Gosti Ganam were rendered with utmost devotional fervour coupled with Anugraha Bhashanam by HH Srivan Satagopa Yateendra 

Mahadesikan, the 46th Pontiff of Ahobilam Mutt at Narayanagiri Gardens in Tirumala on Friday evening.


At the beginning of the program, Lakshmi Nrisimha Mala was offered to the first disciple of Ahobila Mutt, Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya idol.


Saptagiri Sankeertans by Annamacharya Project artists were rendered in a melodious manner in front of Sri Malayappa, Sridevi and Bhudevi.


The Sankeertans included Dinamu Dwadasi Nedu..Bhavamulona...

Enta matramuna Evvaru Talachina...

Podagantimayya mimmu Purushottama

In his Anugraha Bhashanam the Ahobilam Pontiff said, TTD has been observing Annamacharya Vardhanti fete in a grand manner since many years and he has been Participating for the past 15 years in the Soulful program.


He said, Annamacharya penned 32000 Shringara, Yoga, Bhakti Sankeertans as he was taught 32 Beejakshara Mantram by Ahobila Seer. These Sankeertans penned by Annamacharya are Na Bhuto Na Bhavishyati. 


He wished TTD should prepare more and artists and Vidhwans to take forward the legacy of Annamaiah Sankeertans.


He also said there is a unique bond between Tirumala and Ahobila Kshetras as Sri Venkateswara Himself prayed Ahobila Narasimha seeking His blessings before he tied the nuptial knot to Sri Padmavati Devi.


Later Garuda Puranam 1 and 2 first copy were presented to Ahobila Mutt Pontiff as Pustaka Prasadam by TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy along with Srivari Prasadams.


The Pontiff also offered blessings to EO, Tallapka descendants, Annamacharya Project Director Dr Vibhishana Sharma, artists, devotees on the occasion.


Estates Officer and Prakamani DyEO Sri Mallikharjuna, Health Officer Dr Sridevi, Peishkar Sri Srihari, AVSOs Sri Manohar, Sri Vishwanath and others were also present.
