As part of Sri Kodandarama Swamy annual Brahmotsavam, Srirama blessed the devotees on the Gaja Vahanam on the sixth evening on Wednesday.
While the Gajarajas, bulls and horses were leading the grand paraphernalia accompanied by colourful bhajan groups playing kolatams, the Lord strolled through the four Mada streets of the temple.
Gaja Vahana has an importance in Hindu Sanatana Dharma as it is a symbol of royalty and majesty.
In the Vahana Seva, Tirumala Sri Peddajiyarswamy along with his deputy Sri Chinnajiyar Swamy, Deputy EOs Sri Govinda Rajan, Smt. Nagaratna, AEO Sri Parthasaradhi, Superintendent Sri Somasekhar, Kankanabhattar Sri Sitaramacharyulu, Temple Inspectors Sri Chalapati, Sri Suresh, devotees participated.
