Annamacharya Was A Great Social Reformer

The saint poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya was a great social reformer who taught the society of the human values through his impeccable Sankeertans, said SVETA Director Sri Bhuman Subramanyam Reddy.

Chairing the literary session as a part of the 616th Annamacharya Jayanti celebrations, Sri Bhuman spoke on Annmaiah-Samajikata and said the great saint poet fought against all social odds that prevailed in the society those days by penning extraordinary Sankeertans like Brahmamokkate Para Brahmamokkate... 

Scholars Dr Srinivasa Reddy spoke on Annamaiah-Janapadam and elaborated on the various folklores penned by the saint poet.
