Annamayya Sankeertans Entralls Art Lovers





As part of the 616th birth anniversary celebrations of Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya, the denizens of the temple city were mesmerized by the Sankeertans sung by renowned musician Srimati Pantula Rama from Visakhapatnam at Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati on Tuesday evening.


In this devotional musical fiesta the popular vocalist rendered some memorable Sankeertans pf Annamacharya and Tyagaraja including "Rāma candruḍitaḍu..

Endarō mahānubhāvānulu 
veṅkaṭēśa ninu sēvimpa 
gōvardhanagiri dharā, her own music composition in Mandu Ragam..Govindahari Govinda.. A folklore penned by Annamacharya in a soul-touching manner. 

On Violin Sri MSN Murty and Mridangam Sri Kotipalle Ramesh exhibited their impeccable skills much to the applause of the audience.

The Annamacharya Project Director Dr. Vibhishana Sharma, TTD officials and a large number of music lovers participated in this program.
