Dhwajarohanam for Karvetinagaram Brahmotsavams Performed

The Dhwajarohanam ceremony of Karvetinagaram Sri Venugopala Swamy brahmotsavams was observed in the temple between 10am and 11 am in the Karkataka Lagnam on Wednesday. AEO Sri Parthasaradhi, Superintendent Sri Soma Sekhar and others participated in this program.

Earlier Sri Rukmini Satyabhama sameta Sri Venugopala Swamy were paraded on Golden Tiruchi along with Sri Chakrattalwar and Garuda Dhwajapatam. All the three crore deities of the different world were invited for the mega-religious event which concludes on June 6. 

The important days includes Pedda Sesha Vahanam on May 29, Kalyanotsavam on June 1, Garuda Vahanam on June 2, Rathtosavam on June 5 and Chakrasnanam on June 6. 

The Grihastas willing to take part in Kalyanotsavam shall have to pay Rs.750 on which two persons will be allowed. The HDPP and Annamacharya Projects of TTD have arranged special devotional programs during this period.
