Friday Gardens Spruces up for The Occasion

The annual three-day Vasanthotsavam commenced on a grand religious note in Sri Padmavati Ammavari temple at Tiruchanoor on Wednesday.

The religious event was observed from 2.30pm pm to 4:30pm in Friday Gardens. The entire premises has been spruced up recreating a green wood environment with various flora and fauna hanging from atop enhancing the grandeur of the event.

Later the utsava deity of Ammavaru was rendered Abhishekam with turmeric, vermilion, milk, curd, honey, sandal paste, coconut water.

In the evening the Goddess will be paraded along four mada streets.

DyEO Sri Govindarajan, Archaka Sri Babu Swamy, Superintendent Sri Seshagiri, temple inspector Sri Ganesh and others, Grihasta devotees were present.
