Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam was held on Wednesday in view of the annual Brahmotsavam at Narayanavanam Sri Padmavathi Sametha Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple scheduled from May 21 to 29.
It is customary to perform Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam, the traditional temple cleansing ritual before Brahmotsavam.
Tirumanjanam was held from 6.30 am to 12.30 pm. In this, after purifying the temple premises, walls, roof, worship materials etc. with water, a holy mixture devotees were allowed to have darshan from 1.30 pm onwards.
Temple Deputy EO Smt Nagaratna, Superintendent Sri. Dharmaiah and Temple Inspector Sri. Nagaraju participated in this program.
Vahana sevas will be held from 7.30 am to 9.30 am and from 7 pm to 9 pm every day during Brahmotsavam.
Details of vahanams during Brahmotsavams:
Dhwajarohanam on May 21, Garuda Vahanam on May 25, Rathotsavam and Kalyanam on May 28, Chakrasnanam on May 29.
Grihastas shall have to pay Rs 1000 per ticket on which two persons will be allowed for Kalyanam.
