Tirumala Summer Rush Arrangements and Other Festivals

Before taking the calls from the pilgrims across the country, during the monthly Dial your EO programme held at the conference hall in the TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Friday, the EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy highlighted some important pilgrim initiatives taken in view of summer rush and other festivals lined up in the month of May in Tirumala and other sub-temples of TTD.

Summer arrangements

We have cancelled the letters of recommendation for VIP break darshan, limiting it to protocol VIPs alone in view of the heavy rush in summer vacation.

Providing food, buttermilk, drinking water, breakfast and medical facilities continuously in the queues and compartments.

In the streets of the temple and in all the areas where there is a lot of movement of devotees, shades, coolants and carpets are being provided as a relief from the heat of the sun besides sprinkling the ground with water from time to time.

We have set up temporary sheds for devotees to rest in Narayangiri Gardens and temple surroundings.

Hanuman Jayanti Utsavams from June 1 to 5 in Balanjaneya Swamy temple at Akasa Ganga, Sri Bedi Anjaneya Swamy, Seventh Mile Prasanna Anjaneya besides organising Sampoorna Sundarakanda Akhanda Parayanam in Dharmagiri on June 2, special discourses in Nada Neerajanam platform etc.

TTD Educational institutions performed well achieving 98% pass percentage in Tenth and Inter
