Vengamamba is A Symbol of Women Empowerment

Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba is a symbol of women empowerment and fought against social evils in her times and became one of the ardent devotees, advocated HH Sri Swarupananda Saraswathi Maha Swamy of Visakha Sarada Peetham.

The pontiff graced the Vengamamba Jayanti fete held at Narayanagiri Gardens in Tirumala on Wednesday evening.

In his Anugraha Bhashanam he cited the great works of Vengamamba including her writings, Annaprasadam distribution etc.

Earlier he released two books and a CD of Vengamamba on the occasion.

After Sahasra Deepalankara Seva, the Utsava deities reached Padmavati Pariyanotsava Mandapam. In front of the deities, the artistes of Annamacharya and Vengamamba projects along with renowned singer Smt Srinidhi rendered Sankeertans penned by Vengamamba including
