TTD EO Sri J. Syamala Rao requested the District SP to find out the brokers who are deceiving the devotees of Tirumala and take legal action against them from time to time.
The EO held a meeting with the District Police Officials, Vigilance and Security Department of TTD on Wednesday in the conference hall of TTD administration building in Tirupati.
Speaking on this occasion, EO said that the many brokers who have been deceiving the devotees regarding the accommodation, darshan and seva tickets should not be ignored.
The concerned officials were asked to take immediate action against them.
Upon the requirement as narrated by the CVSO, EO advised the concerned authorities to look into setting up a cyber crime team to solve IT-related cases in Tirumala speedily.
Earlier, the police department explained the stages of vaious cases related to darshan brokers in Tirumala, through online, through dip system, registered cases, theft cases, fake websites, etc. through a power point presentation.
After that, the EO asked the police officials to take steps to ensure that the brokers involved in these cases are punished according to law within a week.
Besides, TTD vigilance and police departments should meet frequently for quick resolution of such cases.
Tirupati District SP Sri Harshavardhan Raju, TTD JEOs Smt Goutami, Sri. Veerabrahmam, CV&SO Sri. Narasimha Kishore, Tirumala Additional SP Smt. Vimala Kumari, DSP Sri Srinivasachari, TTD VGO (Vigilance) Sri. Giridhar Rao and other officials participated in this meeting.
